Parties are back on board!

But numbers are restricted and a few things have changed due to Coronavirus restrictions.

Please see the info below.

We offer parties for children turning 5yrs *(attending school) –  Upwards

 

Treasure Chest Party (for 5-6yrs)  @£11.50 per crafter

Our Treasure chest is our most popular item for children aged 5-6 yrs and comes with chocolate coins.

It can be painted, foam clayed, & jewelled into a lovely jewellery box or Treasure chest. It is the perfect item for younger children as it is made of wood which eliminates the possibility of breakages. Its also just a lot of fun as they get to use everything to decorate it.  Each child will also receive a Capri Sun juice and a packet of crisps halfway through for a wee break. Plus a few sweets in their bag to take home.The party will last 1hr 30mins. 

Please note: Currently it is only possible for us to host a party for a max of 10 children with two adults. We no longer will provide catering of sausage rolls or sandwiches but instead will provide each child with a capri sun juice and packet of crisps as stated above. 

While we will not ask you how many households make up your booking  - we would ask you to comply with the latest government guidelines in operation at the time of your booking.

 

Ceramic painting party (7yrs  - upwards ) @ £13.50 per crafter

Children can choose from our huge, massive, large variety of party ceramics which are £7.50 each.

Discounts are not given if children choose a ceramic with a value less than £7.50.

The Ceramic painting party is £13.50 per crafter, and the party will last 1hr 30 mins. Each child will also receive a Capri Sun juice and a packet of crisps halfway through for a wee break. Plus a few sweets in their bag to take home.

We highly recommend that you choose a selection of ceramics in advance, as guests often are overwhelmed by the huge selection on display! The longer they take to choose, the less time they have to create their masterpiece!  So, ordering a choice of items in advance means that your guests will choose the ceramic quicker and have more time painting. 

 

Please choose a selection of up to three ceramics or a theme i.e mermaid, unicorns, dinos, at least 2 weeks prior to the party, as we need adequate time to order stock.

If you are unable to come to the boat to choose then we have most of our stock online for you to see.

Other important info...

We can only allow a max of 10 guests plus 2 attending adults as we cannot have more than 12 customers booked on board at any one time.

Due to Covid restrictions on sharing cotton aprons and also for us to avoid supplying single use plastic aprons  - we no longer provide aprons. So, please inform all guests to wear old clothes and come wearing an apron or a baggy old shirt! No party clothes please, as acrylics paints can stain clothes permanently. 

 

No more than two attending ( non-crafting) adults to accompany all bookings.  We were small before, but now due to Corona virus restrictions our capacity for customers is now less than halve. So we are unable to allow more than two attending adults (who are not counted as crafting party guests) to attend party bookings.

 

Please ensure you have contact details for all your guests! 

We will only require your contact details for the booking but please ensure you receive and keep all contact details of your guests attending the party. This means that should Test and Protect Scotland have to contact you regarding a possible Corona virus outbreak at the boat, you will have full details to comply with the tracing process. 

Booking & Deposits

A deposit of £40 is required at the point of booking to secure your party with the balance to be paid a week before the party.

If you have to cancel your booking you will receive a full refund of your deposit if you cancel up to 4 weeks in advance of your party date. No refunds will be given to cancellations less than 4 weeks but we will do our very best to accommodate another date for you.

Full refunds are given if we, for any reason, have to cancel your booking. We will endeavor to accommodate an alternative date for your party. A discount will be given on your future booking for the inconvenience of changing your original booking.

* Please understand that we now stipulate that all children and guests invited to the party must be attending school. Due to our small venue, children attending nursery find it challenging to sit for the party time and as we are a small venue we have no room available for them to run around.
